General Bookkeeping

Within QuickBooks Online, this includes:

• Categorization of all income and expense transactions throughout the month

• Monthly reconciliation and review of accounts

• Produce and review monthly balance sheet, profit + loss (P&L) and cash flow statement (unless another frequency is requested)

• Payroll processing and year-end W2 and 1099 filings

• Year-end financial statement preparation for tax filings

• Liaison with tax accountant to ensure you are properly saving money for taxes during the year

Additionally, I am available to answer any and all questions via email throughout the month in regards to the books. The above are example activities, we will work together to create an exact plan for your business based on your needs.

QuickBooks Online Review / Clean-up

Have you been doing your own bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and want a second set of eyes on it? I would be happy to review your accounts and ensure everything is properly recorded in time for tax preparation.

This clean-up and review can be performed mid-year (6 months) or at year-end (12 months).

Pricing to be determined based on the volume of transactions and the state of your books, meaning have you been keeping them up to date thus far.

Initial QuickBooks Online set-up

Do you currently use excel to track your income / expenses? Are you ready to use the power of QuickBooks Online (QBO) to track your books instead?

If you’ve never used QuickBooks before, I can help with the initial set-up of your account which includes;

• Determining which QBO subscription best meets your needs

• Connecting bank and credit card accounts, as well as any other apps you use to collect $ from your clients

• Creating a chart-of-accounts that works for your business needs

• Categorization of current income and expense transactions as of a set date

• Initial balance sheet, profit+loss (P&L) and cash flow statement

If after initial set-up, you want to continue to do your books yourself, I will show you a few tips on how to do so.
